Welcome to PrepSights. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the PrepSights website and services ("Service"), operated by PrepSights ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What PrepSights is

PrepSights is a self-study companion for competitive exam preparation. It provides study notes, revision tools, practice tests, performance analytics, planning tools and related features. It is a study aid — it is not coaching, and it does not guarantee any exam result.

2. Your account

• You must provide a valid email address from a recognised email provider to create an account.
• Your account is personal. Do not share your login access with others; access is licensed to you individually.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. If you believe your email account is compromised, secure it and contact us.
• You must be at least 16 years old, or use the Service with the consent of a parent or guardian.

3. Access, plans and pricing

• Some content requires purchase of access to a subject or a course level. Current indicative pricing is shown on our home page.
• During our invite-only review period, access may be granted free of charge at our discretion; such access can be modified or withdrawn at any time.
• Prices may change; changes will not affect access already purchased.
• Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, download in bulk, resell or redistribute our content (notes, questions, tests, flashcards, drills or any other material);
• share accounts or circumvent access controls;
• upload unlawful content, malware, or other people's copyrighted material without permission (including to the quiz-builder or answer-sheet uploads);
• abuse AI-powered features (including automated or excessive use), or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice, and without refund in cases of serious violation.

5. Intellectual property

All content and software on the Service is owned by PrepSights or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the content for your own exam preparation only. Material you upload (e.g. answer sheets, PDFs for quiz building) remains yours; you grant us a licence to process it solely to provide the Service to you.

6. AI-powered features

Some features (such as the doubt solver and answer-sheet evaluator) use artificial intelligence. AI output can be wrong. These features are provided on a best-effort, "beta" basis and marks or feedback they produce are indicative only — see our Disclaimer. Do not rely on them as a substitute for official evaluation or professional advice.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change or remove features as the Service evolves. If we discontinue a paid feature entirely, we will deal with affected users fairly under the Refund policy.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrepSights shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of exam results, loss of data caused by factors outside our reasonable control, or amounts exceeding the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the seat of PrepSights shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified on the website or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
